Applicants will need to meet the following basic criteria for consideration:
 

1. Be a current or recent ex-serving member of the UK, Australian, USA or Canadian Armed Forces, and
2. Have been a citizen of either the UK, Australia, USA, or Canada for a minimum period of 10 years, or have been living in New Zealand for a minimum period of 5 years
    

If successful through the recruitment process you will need to gain the right to live and work in New Zealand through permanent New Zealand Residency.

You will need to independently apply for residency with the New Zealand Immigration Service as the New Zealand Defence Force are unable to get involved in the Immigration process. If you are successful through our recruiting process, we will produce an Offer of Service (Offer of Employment) which will facilitate your application for Permanent New Zealand Residency.
